Macworld 1997 7 Jan 1997

The 1997 Macworld keynote occurred just a week after Apple's announcement of its acquisition of NeXT, and Steve Jobs' return to the company as advisor to the CEO.
The keynote remained memorable for being horribly long and badly led by Apple CEO Gil Amelio, who showed up unprepared and ranted for over two hours. The video only shows the section where Steve Jobs was asked to come on stage. At the end, Steve was joined by Steve Wozniak to symbolise the return of the founding spirit of Apple to the company. Amelio left the company the following summer, Steve replacing him as interim CEO.
